Tillicoultry Quarries Ltd. in East Anglia is seeking a Relief Concrete Batcher to cover five concrete batching plants. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, quality and delivery of ready-mix products while supporting the Area Production Manager.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with concrete plants in operations and maintenance.
• Understanding of concrete mixes and raw materials.
• Accurate and procedure-driven with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel across the East Anglia region.
• Full driving licence required.

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily operations of nominated concrete plant(s) in the region.
• Support the Area Concrete Production Manager and batchers.
• Enforce health and safety procedures at all times.
• Ensure plant equipment and stock are maintained and monitored via control systems.
• Order and manage raw materials to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Ensure quality and timely production of ready-mix products.
• Maintain tidy yards and stock areas and implement improvements.
• Assist with routine maintenance of yards and plants.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsibility for the day-to-day safe and efficient running of a nominated concrete plant(s) throughout the region
• Support the Area Concrete Production Manager and incumbent concrete batchers throughout the East Anglian region
• Promoting and complying with company Health and Safety procedures at all times.
• Support the Area Concrete Production Manager to ensure all mixing equipment is maintained in line with company standards to ensure the plants maximise their output potential.
• To assist and ensure all raw materials are ordered in a timely manner and input via the control systems to ensure accurate stock management.
• Responsibility for the accurate production and quality of Ready-mix products throughout the region
• Ensuring timely delivery of raw materials.
• Housekeeping of yard and stock areas throughout the region, be able to identify and implement improvements.
• Assist with routine and planned maintenance of the yards and plants.

• An understanding of concrete mixes and their raw materials
• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and ability to follow procedures.
• A willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work regular overtime to meet the needs of the business when required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually as required.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering quality standards to our customers.
• A degree of computer literacy
• Assist, deputise and cover the incumbent concrete shippers and batchers during busy periods, and provide effective cover for holidays and sickness leave.
• Be willing to travel throughout the East Anglian Region
• Full driving license.
