Job summary

Lacemaker Extra Care Establishment in Long Eaton is seeking a relief Care Worker (Community) to join our Southeast Care Service. The role involves delivering a range of tasks to clients over a 24-hour period, 7 days a week, promoting independence and working on a three-shift rota including early mornings, afternoons and waking nights.

Enhanced rates after 7pm and before 7am. You don’t need previous experience as we’ll provide full training and support.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care including dressing and undressing, meal preparation and medication administration.
• Monitor health and wellbeing and support clients to access communal areas.
• Work with Health Care Professionals, Housing 21 team and families; respond to unplanned emergencies.
• Follow care support plans and complete risk assessments, maintaining health and safety for clients and colleagues.
