Job summary

Anchor Group Services in Barnsley is seeking a Relief Cleaning Operative to join the Wellington House cleaning team on a zero-hours basis. Early starts begin around 5:00am, and you will carry out a range of cleaning tasks to a high standard.

Overview

An excitingopportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for anexperienced cleaner to join the site cleaning team at Wellington House (Barnsley) as a Relief Cleaning Operative .

The successful candidate will be required to carry out a range of cleaning tasks, safely and professionally, to a high standard. You must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, have the ability to communicate on all levels and possess a proactive and positive attitude.

This is a relief position on a zero-hour contract to provide site cover, therefore, the successful candidate must be flexible and available to cover annual leave, sickness absence, and other operational needs as required.

Shift times start from 5:00am, so you must be able to reliably commute to S70 1WA for as early as 5:00am.

Dutiesinclude:

• Cleaning ofdesignated areas, ensuring the agreed cleaningspecification is completed, as per the siteinstructions
  
• Emptying of bins,ensuring recycled waste is disposed ofcorrectly
  
• Attending tospillages by making sure they are cleaned up, within anefficient timeframe, to prevent accidents and ensure site andstaff safety
  
• Following H&Sand COSHH regulations
  
• Use ofsite-specific equipment, machinery and handlingchemicals
  
• Proactiveinteraction with on-site clients and customers, offeringsuperb customer service
