Vertas Group is seeking a dedicated Relief Cleaner to join our Facilities Team in the Burton & Swadlincote area. This zero-hours contract role is ad hoc to support business needs and delivers essential cleaning across sites.

You will maintain high cleanliness standards, handle toilets, surfaces, and general areas, and work independently with strong communication to ensure a welcoming, safe environment for customers and colleagues. DBS check may be applicable.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Good communication skills and experience in similar cleaning setting.
• Right to work in the UK.
• DBS check may be applicable for this role.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms.
• Wiping down tables and surfaces.
• General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas.
• Hoovering and mopping floors.
