Job summary

Vertas is seeking a Relief Cleaner to join our Facilities Team in the Burton & Swadlincote area. This zero-hours, ad hoc role focuses on maintaining high cleaning standards across classrooms and communal areas.

You will clean toilets and washrooms, wipe tables and surfaces, hoover and mop floors, and ensure hygiene at all times. Previous cleaning experience is welcome but not essential; independence, reliability and good communication are valued.

About the Role

Based in the Burton & Swadlincote area this position is offered on a zero-hours contract, working on an ad hoc basis to support business needs. You'll play a key role in maintaining high cleaning standards, ensuring sites are clean, safe, and welcoming – consistently meeting both our expectations and those of our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:
