Job summary

Olive Dining Ltd in London schools is seeking a Relief Chef Manager to support both primary and secondary sites. You’ll cover holidays and sickness, and you’ll work closely with the development team, reporting into the head of development as part of a large kitchen team.

The role offers term-time hours (40 weeks), 30 hours per week, and a rate of £16.93 per hour with free meals on duty. If you’re passionate about school meals, teamwork, and delivering tasty, safe food for students, we’d love to

Qualifications

Experience in the kitchen is a must, whether in schools or B&I.
A food safety certificate or equivalent to keep everything safe, healthy and tasty.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and work well in a busy environment.
Good understanding of food hygiene; Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is a bonus.
Flexibility to adapt when the menu or schedule changes because school days are never boring.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude with kids, staff and school life.
