Job summary

Gather + Gather is recruiting a Relief Chef Manager to support sites across the North, primarily Yorkshire and Manchester, with occasional travel to the North East and Midlands as required.

You will cover Chef Manager and Head Chef absences, lead site teams, and ensure menus meet Gather & Gather brand standards. You will also create menus, oversee food production, and maintain high presentation and food safety across all sites.

• Experience developing menus in line with brand standards

Responsibilities

• Provide relief chef cover across sites in the Northern region, including Chef Manager and Head Chef absences
• Support and develop site teams, coaching colleagues and sharing best practices
• Help sites enhance and develop their food offer in line with Gather & Gather brand standards
• Invent and create menus that meet client and customer needs
• Produce food in a timely manner to ensure smooth service delivery
• Ensure all food is presented to a high standard and is 'picture perfect'
• Assist in developing and introducing new food concepts and service styles
• Communicate menu requirements and order ingredients as required
• Support operational teams during mobilisations, staff shortages, and busy periods
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards across all sites

We are currently recruiting for a Relief Chef Manager to support a variety of sites across the North, primarily covering Yorkshire and Manchester, with occasional travel to the North East and Midlands as required.

Salary: £35,000 per annum + amazing benefits

Working pattern: 40 hours per week, predominantly Monday - Friday 7am to 3pm however some ad hoc support over weekends may be required

Location: across the North, primarily covering Yorkshire and Manchester, with occasional travel to the North East and Midlands as required - Must have full clean driving license along with their own car. Mileage covered.
