Chefs for Chefs across the UK is expanding its team of Relief Chefs to support a wide range of hospitality businesses. If you’re a Kitchen Porter, Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, or Head Chef, this is your chance to work in diverse kitchens with flexible hours.

As a Relief Chef, you’ll step into professional kitchens, keep service running smoothly, and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety. We offer competitive hourly pay with holiday pay, plus ongoing support and development.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Food Hygiene and Allergen Awareness certificates (minimum).
• Reliable, adaptable, and professional approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A DBS check is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes to established standards.
• Supporting kitchen teams with service, prep, and cleaning tasks.
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene, safety, and organisation at all times.
• Adapting quickly to new environments and contributing positively to the team.
• Collaborating with business owners and chefs to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
