Job summary

Jewish Care is seeking experienced Care & Support Workers to provide bank/relief cover across day and night shifts, including weekends, for tenants living in their own flats within retirement living communities.

You will support tenants with personal care, daily living tasks, companionship and community activities, helping them stay independent and connected while building meaningful relationships in a supportive environment.

• Good communication and relationship-building with tenants and families.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support tenants with personal care and daily living tasks.
• Promote independence, choice and dignity for tenants.
• Build trusted relationships with tenants and their families.
• Support wellbeing through social activities and community engagement.
• Collaborate with health and social care professionals for joined-up support.
• Keep accurate records and use care planning systems.
