Job summary

Jewish Care's Pears Court Retirement Living Service in London is seeking a Night Care and Support Worker to help tenants stay independent and connected. The role operates a two-week rotating schedule with night shifts from 9:00pm to 7:00am, across weekends and weekdays as outlined.

A genuine occupational requirement exists for the postholder to be female. The successful applicant will provide practical support, companionship and work with care teams to ensure high-quality, person-centred care in

Qualifications

• Experience in care is helpful but not required.
• A genuine passion for supporting older people living independently.

Responsibilities

• Support tenants with personal care and daily living.
• Promote independence, choice and dignity for tenants.
• Build trusted relationships with tenants and their families.
• Support wellbeing through social activities and community engagement.
• Work with health and social care professionals to provide joined-up support.
• Keep accurate records and use care planning systems.
