Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is seeking a Relief Care Assistant for Cherrett Court in Ferndown to support residents with daily living activities and wellbeing. You will perform housekeeping and domestic tasks across the estate and encourage participation in activities that promote independence.

You will need a warm, friendly approach, care experience, and a commitment to excellent service. QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred, with other relevant qualifications considered.

Qualifications

• Warm, friendly individual with experience in care or support environment.
• Passion for wellbeing of older people and teamwork in a busy setting.
• Driven to deliver excellent customer service.
• QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 preferred; alternative qualifications considered with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support to residents.
• Deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the estate, including apartment cleans.
• Assist residents with activities to support health and wellbeing.
• Help with appointments, transport, and escort on visits as needed.
