Job summary

MHA is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant (Relief) based at Lauriston in St Leonards on Sea. You will support residents with personal and social care, aligned to care plans, while contributing to a warm and respectful home environment. The role emphasizes safeguarding, teamwork, and flexible weekend shifts to meet residents’ needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and complete required training.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents, families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Act as a keyworker for a group of residents and support admissions.
• Develop and review individual care plans, including for residents with dementia.
• Provide personal and social care in line with care plans to promote wellbeing.
• Uphold safeguarding, infection control and health and safety practices.
