MHA is seeking a Care Assistant (Relief) for Aigburth care home in Leicester. You will provide personal and social care, support residents with dignity and independence, and work as part of a respectful, values-driven team.

The role involves acting as a keyworker, assisting with admissions, and contributing to person-centred care plans, including dementia care, across flexible shifts including weekends.

Competenze

• Respect and sensitivity for older people.
• Willingness to be trained (Level 1 or 2 in social care encouraged).
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Caring nature with patience and empathy.
• Previous care experience desirable (not essential).
• Able to work flexibly across a rota, including weekends.

Mansioni

• Act as a keyworker for a group of residents and support admissions.
• Develop and review individual care plans, including dementia care.
• Provide personal and social care in line with care plans, promoting wellbeing.
• Uphold safeguarding, infection control and health and safety practices.
