Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced Van Drivers for a Chesterfield area role. Immediate starts available and you will be responsible for delivering to builders’ merchants, construction sites, and commercial customers across the country.

Expect a structured workload with 4–8 deliveries per shift using modern curtain-sided vehicles. Daily safety checks, paperwork, and professional service are essential, with overtime paid after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Commercial driving experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence

Responsibilities

• Transport products to builders’ merchants, construction sites and commercial customers nationwide.
• Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and deliver a professional level of service at every customer location.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and comply with transport and health & safety regulations.
• Load/unload with tail lift and pump truck as required.
• Deliver 4–8 deliveries per shift with modern curtain-sided vehicles.
