Job summary

Glasgow Centre for Inclusive Living in Glasgow is seeking a friendly Personal Assistant to support Shaz in the G31 area. The role focuses on practical day-to-day tasks at home, keeping routines, space and independence intact, with respect for Shaz's home as a safe space.

You’ll help with shopping, cooking, housework, organizing belongings, and support to take part in activities or volunteering. A driver is preferred but not essential; 10.5 hours per week, paid at £13.60 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Food shopping and carrying bags.
• Basic cooking, evening meals and batch cooking support.
• Helping plan meals, shop for groceries and prepare meals.
• Housework such as hoovering, ironing, changing the bed and tidying.
• Keeping items in their usual place to avoid anxiety.
• Assisting with cupboard clearance and general home organisation.
• Reminding about the pain patch when due.
• Support to get involved in activities, classes or volunteering opportunities.
• Cat-related essentials and keeping the home running smoothly.
