Job summary

Glasgow Centre for Inclusive Living in Glasgow is seeking a Personal Assistant to cover relief periods for L. You will support with routines, movement with a hoist, tube feeding, and transport to his day centre.

The role also involves home tasks and helping him stay entertained either at home or in the community. Ideal candidates will be patient, reliable and comfortable building a trusting relationship with L and his family.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar care and support role (preferred).
• Full, clean driving licence is essential.
• Comfort with hoisting and daily living support tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support with morning and afternoon routines.
• Moving and assisting, including use of a hoist.
• Tube feeding and medication administration.
• Transport to and from the day centre.
• Household tasks including bedroom cleanliness and light ironing.
• Help the client relax, stay entertained and enjoy time at home or out in the community.
