Job summary

Lords Builders Merchants in Watford is seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join our busy branch. You will deliver building materials to customer sites across the region and handle loading, unloading and paperwork.

You must hold a valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence and Driver CPC, with HIAB preferred. The role requires multi-drop experience, excellent customer service, and a safe, professional approach.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence and Driver CPC.
• HIAB licence preferred, or willingness to train.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a multi-drop role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering building materials to customer sites across the region.
• Loading and unloading vehicles and ensuring accurate stock movement.
• Operating a HIAB crane safely and in line with regulations.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reports.
• Providing excellent customer service on every delivery.
• Completing delivery paperwork and handling returns correctly.
