Job summary

Finsbury Food Group is seeking a proactive PPM Engineer to join our engineering team at Kara Foodservice, Manchester.

You will deliver a proactive planned maintenance programme across site assets, minimise downtime and extend machinery life, while collaborating with the Reliability Manager and Engineering Scheduler to align with production and shutdowns. The role emphasises safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering qualifications and relevant experience essential.
• Apprentice-trained would be desirable.
• Machining skills or experience advantageous.
• IPAF training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a proactive planned preventative maintenance programme across site assets.
• Coordinate with Reliability Manager, Engineering Scheduler and team to schedule activities.
• Ensure maintenance meets required standards and schedules.
• Support health and safety, food safety and hygiene standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement and cross-functional objectives.
