Job summary

Amazon.com, Inc. is seeking an RME Technician to maintain a wide range of site equipment and facilities across our fulfilment network.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and implement solutions to prevent downtime while upholding Health and Safety standards. Based on-site, you will work with apprentices and colleagues to roll out best practices, respond to breakdowns quickly, and support continuous improvements across EU sites, including night shifts as required

Qualifications

• Completed a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer in maintenance.
• Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Perform proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment.
• Uphold health and safety policies and practices.
• Support on-site apprentices and continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborate on roll out of best practices across EU sites.
