Job summary

Amazon is seeking an RME Technician to maintain a wide range of equipment and workspaces, upholding Health and Safety best practices. You’ll be proactive in maintenance, prevent downtime, and support apprentices on site, aiming to boost equipment availability and site efficiency.

You’ll perform reactive repairs, fault diagnosis, and continuous improvement tasks across EU sites, often working shifts to keep operations running smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• Full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject.
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer.
• Relevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites.

Education

NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics

Associate's degree in Mechanical or Electrical

Tools

MHE safety standards

Robotic operation and maintenance

Condition-based monitoring

Print and apply machines
