Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to keep critical equipment running at our on-site facilities in the UK. You will perform proactive and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and implement quick solutions to minimise downtime.

You will work with on-site teams, support apprentices, and participate in continuous improvement across sites, with shifts that ensure round‑the‑clock site support.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Associate's degree in Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards per OEM and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across EU sites.
