Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician (RME) to maintain a wide range of site equipment at our UK fulfilment centres.

Based on-site, you will perform proactive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and uphold health and safety standards while supporting apprentices and continuous improvement projects. You will work shifts to keep operations running around the clock and may liaise with contractors for external expertise.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ level in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics or completed a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Experience in engineering and facilities management
• 4-year UK certified apprenticeship, or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics
• Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse
• Use the latest tools to maximize equipment effectiveness
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices
• Work on continuous improvement projects across EU sites
