Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to keep critical site equipment running safely and efficiently.

The role focuses on proactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and rapid response to breakdowns in a high-volume distribution environment. You will work with advanced tooling and collaborate with senior engineers while contributing to safety standards and on-site training for apprentices.

Qualifications

• 4 years UK certified apprenticeship.
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or completed a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Please be prepared to provide proof of qualifications obtained as part of Amazon’s Terms of Employment.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites.
