Job summary

Vax is seeking a Reliability Engineer to join its Quality division in a role that defines and maintains test methodologies, standards and validation approaches. The position collaborates with Quality, Engineering and operational Test teams across the UK, USA and Asia to ensure testing is robust and well-documented.

Qualifications

• Experience in product testing, validation or reliability engineering.
• Ability to interpret technical standards and translate into recommendations.
• Experience with IEC, ASTM and UL standards.
• Strong analytical skills and data interpretation.
• Excellent communication across international teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain product test procedures, methodologies and validation requirements.
• Support early test scoping and development of Quality Test Plans (QTPs).
• Review test results, identify risks and recommend investigations.
• Review test reports to ensure conclusions are robust and evidenced.
• Ensure product performance claims are supported by validation evidence.
• Maintain knowledge of standards and methodologies, including IEC, ASTM and UL.
• Collaborate with QA, Engineering and Test teams globally.
