Job summary

Novanta, a global leader in engineered components and subsystems, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the Laser Technologies Centre of Excellence in Stockport with hybrid working.

You will lead reliability activities, design tests, perform failure analyses and build models that inform product design and manufacturing transfers.

Collaborate across engineering, R&D, manufacturing and quality teams worldwide, delivering data-driven insights and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in reliability engineering for complex products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, R&D and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Leading reliability validation and qualification activities
• Designing and executing accelerated life testing programmes
• Performing failure investigations and root cause analysis
• Developing reliability models and performance dashboards
• Supporting NPI and manufacturing transfer initiatives
• Driving corrective actions to improve reliability and customer satisfaction
• Supporting customer audits and technical reviews
