Job summary

Recruit4staff are representing a business in their search for a Reliability Engineer to work in Liverpool. The role involves reactive maintenance and repair of production equipment, including filling and packaging lines, with a focus on improving reliability and reducing downtime.

You will perform condition monitoring, first-line PLC/HMI diagnostics, and troubleshooting while collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Multiskilled maintenance experience within a reliability engineering or maintenance role.
• Root cause analysis experience.
• Experience of vibration analysis and ultrasound techniques.
• Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Mechanical or Mechatronics.

Responsibilities

• Perform reactive maintenance and repair of production equipment including powder filling systems and packaging lines.
• Investigate underperforming equipment and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct condition monitoring and first-line PLC/HMI diagnostic checks; troubleshoot as needed.
• Collaborate with internal departments to minimise downtime and improve reliability.
