Job summary

Hackajob Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced SAFe leader to drive agile transformation as a Release Train Engineer within a software delivery environment. The role emphasizes coaching, PI Planning, and cross-functional collaboration to optimise value flow.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead Product Delivery Stream (PDS) scaled agile events.
• Coach leaders and teams on SAFe ways of working.
• Optimise the flow of value to customers.
• Enable the LACE transformation roadmap and cascade improvements.
• Organise and lead PI Planning events with alignment on objectives, priorities and dependencies.
• Monitor progress, resolve impediments, manage risks and stakeholder engagement, and facilitate key scaled agile events including PDS Syncs and System Demos.
• Lead and mentor Scrum Masters while coaching leaders and teams, fostering collaboration and agile maturity.
• Drive improvements in the flow of value across the PDS by removing bottlenecks and reducing WIP.
• Foster a culture of learning and improvement through Inspect and Adapt sessions.

Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year

• We require 2 years experience as a Release Train Engineer within a software delivery environment.
• We require experience working with Scrum and scaled agile frameworks (SAFe).

• We require experience facilitating PI Planning and other scaled agile events.
• We require strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• We require experience driving continuous improvement and agile transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• We lead Product Delivery Stream (PDS) scaled agile events.
• We coach leaders and teams on SAFe agile ways of working.
• We optimise the flow of value to customers.
• We enable the LACE (Lean-Agile Centre of Excellence) transformation roadmap and ensure improvements are cascaded to our PDS and teams.
• We organise and lead PI Planning events, ensuring teams and stakeholders are aligned on objectives, priorities and dependencies for the upcoming planning interval.
• We monitor progress against PI objectives, help resolve Product Delivery Stream impediments, support risk management and stakeholder engagement, and facilitate key scaled agile events including PDS Syncs and System Demos.
• We lead and mentor Scrum Masters while coaching leaders and teams, fostering collaboration, capability development and agile maturity across the PDS.
• We drive improvements in the flow of value across the PDS by removing bottlenecks, limiting work in progress and streamlining processes to maximise delivery outcomes.
• We foster a culture of learning and improvement through Inspect and Adapt sessions, encouraging experimentation and the adoption of more effective ways of working.
• We contribute to the agile transformation roadmap by embedding new practices, cascading changes across the PDS and providing feedback to support successful implementation and ongoing improvement.

You will join the V1 Technology Engineering - Platform Engineering team in a hybrid working pattern, with 2 days per week in our Bournemouth or London office and full-time hours.
