Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Delivery Manager for Release Management to lead end-to-end service delivery within a 26-week window. You will coordinate internal teams, customer representatives and 3rd party stakeholders to ensure successful deployments and contractual compliance.

The role focuses on service planning, change control via ITSM tools, and proactive service improvements. On-site visits may be required as part of the engagement.

Qualifications

• Previous Release or Project management relating to software or patch deployment is preferred.
• Methodical thinker with proactive planning experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly.
• Self-motivated, able to work off own initiative or as part of a team when required.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion.
• Ability to take ownership of, and progress escalations through to resolution.
• Committed to client satisfaction and ownership of issues.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
• Demonstratable presentation skills.
• 3+ years of Project management (or similar proven responsibility).

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a comprehensive service plan ensuring the successful delivery within a maximum 26-week period.
• Liaise with internal teams, customer representatives, 3rd party stakeholders and service management to ensure full end-to-end service delivery.
• On-site customer visits as required.
• Produce MI and dashboard reports.
• Manage SLA and contractual delivery.
• Engage with customer ITIL processes and ensure release communication to stakeholders.
• Provide weekly and contractual reporting, closure, lessons learnt.
• Identify Presales opportunities and service improvement.
• Pre-requisites for release are understood and completed to ensure estate readiness.
• Create and own deployment plans; manage changes via ITSM tooling.
