Job summary

Better Connect in North Yorkshire seeks a Relationship Manager to lead and manage relationships with delivery partners, funders and stakeholders, and to develop strategic employer links that create sustainable employment opportunities for participants.

You will work with other Relationship Managers to ensure a high-quality, supportive experience for partners, with flexible hybrid working and regular travel across York, North Yorkshire, and West Yorkshire as required.

Qualifications

• Experience building effective relationships with a range of people.
• Experience managing projects or programmes within employability, skills, or similar provision.
• Experience in employer engagement and developing employment opportunities.
• Understanding of employment initiatives such as supported employment and wage subsidy.
• Well-developed networking skills and the ability to build professional relationships.
• Ability to make judgments and recommendations in complex systems with risk awareness.
• Commitment and demonstration of Better Connects values.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage relationships with delivery partners, funders, and stakeholders.
• Develop strategic employer relationships creating sustainable opportunities for participants.
• Manage performance, quality and compliance of employability programmes.
• Liaise with external stakeholders to embed programmes within wider strategies.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and sustainability of Better Connect.
