Job summary

CNA Hardy is seeking a Reinsurance Technician to provide operational support for the ceded reinsurance function in London. The role involves handling quota share and excess of loss processes, premium payments, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years’ experience in a Lloyd's Syndicate or company market, strong Excel skills, and a proven ability to liaise with brokers and reinsurers while ensuring accurate settlements and run-off handling.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years’ experience in a Lloyd's Syndicate and/or Company market in a ceded reinsurance role.
• Thorough understanding of ceded Reinsurance and post-placement processes.

Responsibilities

## Reinsurance TechnicianApply: London, UK: Full time: Posted 13 Days Ago: End Date: September 26, 2026 (2 days left to apply): R-7996**Function / Area:** **Reinsurance****Reports To: Reinsurance Operations Manager****Position Summary**We are looking for a reinsurance professional to provide operational support to the CNA / Hardy Ceded Reinsurance function in ensuring post-placement activities are conducted promptly and accurately.**Responsibilities*** Responsible for managing proportional quota share reinsurance contract processes including policy rules and entries (Subscribe and Senator), calculation and rendering of statements, managing reinsurer queries, and other processes* Responsible for managing excess of loss reinsurance contract processes including policy entry (Subscribe and Senator), claims close and recoveries, dealing with underwriters queries, premium allocations and payments, Premium Adjustment calculations, and other processes* Responsible for ensuring premium payments are paid effectively and on time in area of responsibility, including adhering to LORS and USM settlement procedures and also internal finance payment processes* Comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and adhere to agreed procedures and controls to ensure this compliance.
