Job summary

CNA Hardy is seeking a Reinsurance Technician to provide operational support for the ceded reinsurance function in London. The role involves handling quota share and excess of loss processes, premium payments, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years’ experience in a Lloyd's Syndicate or company market, strong Excel skills, and a proven ability to liaise with brokers and reinsurers while ensuring accurate settlements and run-off handling.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years’ experience in a Lloyd's Syndicate and/or Company market in a ceded reinsurance role.
• Thorough understanding of ceded Reinsurance and post-placement processes.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and build internal/external relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage proportional quota share reinsurance contract processes including policy rules and entries.
• Handle excess of loss reinsurance contract processes including premium allocations and payments.
• Ensure timely premium payments and compliance with LORS and internal finance procedures.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Reserving, Finance and Claims teams and support regulatory returns.
