Job summary

The Lancashire Group in London is seeking a Group Reinsurance Technician to support outward reinsurance operations and month-end close activities. You will manage collections, reporting, and broker relations with a focus on accuracy and KPI alignment.

Qualifications

• Sound Reinsurance experience within a Lloyds Syndicate or Brokers.
• LIT and LM1/LM2 preferred.
• Computer literate with good numeric skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• LORS understanding would be an advantage.
• Able to work on own initiative as well as within a team.
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the reinsurance recovery collections processes.
• Administer post placement duties for outward reinsurance.
• Process reinsurance recoveries and related matters.
• Assist with monthly/quarterly/annual close related to reinsurance.
• Issue collection notes and manage credit control for recoveries.
• Produce reinsurance reporting for policy representations.
• Review processes and reporting; update system frameworks.
• Build relationships with brokers and stakeholders involved in outward operations.
