Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Multi Skilled Operative for a long-term project in Reigate, starting 21/09/2026 and ending 10/12/2027. The role pays £19.00 per hour umbrella PAYE and requires flexible, hands-on work on site.

Duties include fire watch, removing fire stopping, ceiling work, deliveries, welfare cleaning, and localised redecoration. Mandatory CSCS (Green/Blue), Fire Marshal training, Manual Handling, and an Enhanced DBS with Adult Barred List are required. PPE is provided.

Qualifications

• Green or Blue CSCS card is mandatory.
• Fire Marshal training required.
• Manual Handling certification mandatory.
• Enhanced DBS with Adult Barred List required.
• Full PPE provided (6-point hard hat, chin strap, glasses, gloves, hi-vis, safety boots).

Responsibilities

• Fire marshal/watch on site.
• Remove fire stopping as needed.
• Open/close plasterboard ceilings.
• Manage and store ceiling plasterboard cut-outs.
• Traffic marshalling / banksman duties.
• Welfare cleaning and general cleaning.
• Manage deliveries and local redecoration.
• Other reasonable site duties as required.
