Job summary

Voyage Care is hiring a Rehabilitation Support Worker for Burntwood. You will help residents gain independence, assist with daily activities and personal care, and support social and community engagement in a warm, team-based ABI service setting.

No two days are the same: you may accompany residents to local restaurants, manage appointments, or guide life skills activities to build confidence and independence.

Qualifications

  • No formal qualifications required; caring attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Help people gain more independence in daily life within a supportive team.
  • Assist with personal care and daily routines.
  • Encourage activity in the community and accompany people to appointments or outings.
  • Support with life skills, (e.g., cooking) and social activities.

Job description

Rehabilitation Support Worker – Burntwood - 35 hours per week

£13.04 per hour up to £14.54 per hour with overtime and nights/weekend enhancements (Ts & Cs apply)

Typical Shifts are Monday to Sunday: Days - 7:30am - 2:30pm, 2:30pm - 9:30pm and Nights (only required for cover/emergency/sickness) - 9:30pm - 7:30am

Our ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) service 235 Rugeley Road in Burntwood is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local restaurants or attending appointments, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.
