Totnes Community Hospital is recruiting a Healthcare Support Worker to provide compassionate, patient-centred care within a thriving community setting. You will work closely with registered nurses and therapists to support rehabilitation, recovery and end-of-life care on Dart Ward.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 qualification or equivalent and be willing to enrol on NVQ Level 3 during employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inpatient rehabilitation and recovery under supervision, supporting care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the nursing team.
• Assist with documentation, stock control and basic procedures following training.
• Support patients and their families throughout the care journey.
