Job summary

Schroders seeks a Senior Business Analyst to translate PRA, FCA and EU regulatory mandates into detailed business requirements and functional specifications. You will evaluate reporting processes against new rules, perform gap analyses, and define changes across wealth and asset management domains.

You will work with business, technology and external partners to design pragmatic solutions, document data requirements, and support testing and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Wealth Management / Asset Management industries.
• Proven delivery of business analysis across regulatory change initiatives.
• Ability to translate PRA, FCA and EU regulatory mandates into business requirements and functional specifications (e.g. EMIR, MiFIR).
• Experience evaluating reporting processes and operating models against new regulatory requirements, performing gap analyses and defining required changes.
• Strong experience in data lineage, data mapping, traceability matrices, and tracking data from source systems to regulatory reporting engines.
• Ability to collaborate across business and technology teams and with external partners.
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall delivery frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality business analysis to support regulatory change across Wealth and Asset Management domains.
• Capture, analyse and document business requirements, process flows, and solution options.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business, technology and third parties to define pragmatic solutions.
• Design and implement process, organisational and system changes; ensure smooth transition to BAU.
• Support preparation and execution of user acceptance testing.
• Ensure outputs are fully documented for compliance and governance.
