SSEN Transmission is recruiting a Senior Analyst in the Regulation Team to help translate policies and regulations and to identify upcoming reforms. You will work with senior stakeholders to deliver outcomes, with a strong focus on evidence-led decisions within the UK energy sector.

You will contribute to consultations, price controls, and broader regulatory work packages, while collaborating across the SSE Group to support delivery of strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; identify complex issues and develop practical, evidence-based solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; translate regulatory topics for diverse audiences clearly and concisely.
• Experience in a regulated utility environment; understanding of GB energy regulatory framework and wider energy sector.

Responsabilités

• Support the development of business cases and regulatory submissions to enable delivery of strategic objectives.
• Lead and coordinate research, analysis and policy development to influence regulatory positions.
• Manage and coordinate regulatory projects with timely milestones across SSEN Transmission and the SSE Group.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Ofgem, and participate in consultations and industry engagements.
