Job summary

SSE plc, SSEN Transmission, is seeking a Senior Analyst in the Regulation Team to translate policies, assess reforms and develop regulatory positions across price controls and net-zero policy. You’ll work with senior stakeholders to deliver evidence-led recommendations that shape major infrastructure projects.

This hybrid role requires base in one of our Scottish locations, with around 50% of your time in the office in Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, or Inverness.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify complex issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to translate regulatory topics clearly.
• Experience in a regulated utility environment.
• Knowledge of the GB energy regulatory framework.

Responsibilities

• Support development of regulatory submissions and consultations.
• Lead research and policy development across SSEN Transmission priorities.
• Coordinate regulatory projects with milestones delivered on time.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including Ofgem.
