Job summary

Holland & Barrett is seeking a Regulatory Specification & Label Advisor to ensure our product specifications, labels and artwork comply with current regulations and our high standards. You will collaborate with Product & Innovation, Technical, Sourcing and Commercial teams to keep information accurate throughout product lifecycles.

Based in the UK with hybrid working, you will attend monthly team meetings in Nuneaton or London and support ongoing regulatory updates, review supplier

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar regulatory role within food or health sectors.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and labeling.
• Excellent data management and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate finished product specifications and regulatory data.
• Review product artwork and labeling for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies in product information.
• Review supplier specifications and supporting documentation for inconsistencies.
• Keep PLM systems and related databases accurate and up to date.
• Check that approved artwork aligns with final specification data.
• Prioritize requests for new and existing product developments, flag risks early.
• Keep up to date with relevant legislation, standards and best practice.

We offer flexible hybrid working, with an expectation that you'll attend our Nuneaton or London office at least once a month for team meetings, collaboration and key events. You'll have flexibility over where you work day to day, based on the needs of the role.

Intro

Help us keep product information accurate, trusted and compliant. As our Regulatory Specification & Label Advisor, you'll play an important role in protecting customer trust by ensuring our product specifications, labels and artwork meet regulatory requirements and our high standards.

Working alongside colleagues across Product & Innovation, Technical, Sourcing and Commercial, you'll help bring products to market with confidence and keep information accurate throughout their lifecycle.

What you'll be doing

• Create and maintain accurate finished product specifications and regulatory data.
• Review product artwork and labelling, checking that mandatory information, nutritional details and claims are accurate and compliant.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain consistent product information.
• Review supplier specifications and supporting documentation, challenging inconsistencies where needed.
• Keep product lifecycle management (PLM) systems and related databases accurate and up to date.
• Check that approved artwork aligns with final specification data.
• Manage and prioritise requests for new and existing product developments, highlighting risks and capacity constraints early.
• Keep up to date with relevant legislation, standards and industry best practice.

What you'll bring

• Experience in a similar role within food manufacturing, FMCG or health supplements.
• An understanding of food safety regulations, health supplement legislation, product labelling and specification management.
• Strong attention to detail and confidence managing data and documentation.
• The ability to organise competing priorities, meet deadlines and communicate clearly with different stakeholders.
• A proactive, analytical approach to solving problems and improving processes.
• Familiarity with specification management systems and artwork workflows is desirable.
