You will handle regulatory investigations and enforcement matters with a view to delivering practical, commercial advice for major brands. PQE of 4+ required, with a strong client-facing mindset.

About The Role

A Regulatory Solicitor (Commercial) is sought for a full time post in Birmingham, offering £65,000 to £90,000 yearly, dependent upon experience. The appointed lawyer joins a national firm's growing regulatory group, handling advisory matters for commercial clients. Duties span food and consumer protection, digital and e-commerce rules, plus advertising standards. Some instructions involve investigations and enforcement action. Candidates need four years or more post-qualification experience, strong analytical ability, clear drafting, and confidence advising businesses directly. This position suits a solicitor keen to build specialist knowledge within a supportive, award-winning practice.

The Role

Top 50 law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Regulatory Solicitor to join its commercial team. On offer is the opportunity to advise on regulatory issues including food and consumer protection, digital and e-commerce regulation and advertising. You will primarily be dealing with advisory work, although there will be work involving regulatory investigations and enforcement matters. The Candidate

You will have at least 4 years' PQE in regulatory law and / or consumer regulatory law within a national, regional or international law firm. With strong technical expertise and a commercial mindset, you will have the ability to build strong client relationships and provide a proactive, practical collaborative approach.
