Job summary

DAC Beachcroft's Regulatory Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) team in Glasgow is seeking a solicitor with at least 5 years PQE to handle a busy mix of regulatory investigations, prosecutions and non-contentious compliance work for a diverse client base.

You will develop client relationships, support business development, and travel as required, within a supportive, collaborative culture that values clear, creative and determined practitioners.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years PQE in regulatory and/or commercially focussed environment.
• Experience advising on regulatory investigations, prosecutions or compliance.
• Business development and client relationship skills.
• Willingness to travel at short notice; driving licence essential.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and technical skills; compliant with budgets.

Responsibilities

• Handle busy, varied regulatory matters for diverse clients.
• Act as client contact under client protocols with appropriate knowledge.
• Support business development, pitches, presentations and trainings.
• Maintain file quality, billing, WIP and management reporting.
• Ensure quality control and cross‑practice collaboration; build internal networks.
• Develop technical knowledge through training and CPD.
