Regulatory Services Manager for Sustainability Projects

Position Type: Full-time

Due to Eurofins' expansion and growing portfolio of sustainability-related services, we are recruiting to develop our team to manage sustainability regulations across a broad range of projects for a global stakeholder group. This role will primarily work within regulatory services and additionally within sustainability services to support our global laboratory network and commercial teams.

The Role:

Manage sustainability regulations for the Softlines and Hardlines division of Consumer Product Testing. Provide support to internal and external customers on all relevant global sustainability regulations.

  • Regulatory Monitoring and Maintenance of Global Regulatory Database:
    • Coordinate with team members in Regulatory and Sustainability Services
    • Compile and classify existing sustainability-related regulatory information and manage the regulatory database
    • Conduct monthly global surveillance, input, and update of database information from global sources
    • Compile horizon scanning services
  • Market Access Investigations:
    • Develop and expand market access projects for our laboratory network
    • Research new markets by country/region for sustainability-related legal requirements based on market demand and stakeholder interests
  • Sustainability Regulatory Support: Respond to global sustainability-related queries from Eurofins employees and clients.
  • Communication and Training:
    • Prepare monthly newsletters on sustainability-related regulatory updates
    • Provide training to internal teams on relevant regulatory updates and support external webinars
    • Assist marketing in reviewing sustainability-related regulatory materials
    • Maintain and update regulatory documentation related to sustainability projects
  • Additional Support: Provide general support to the team as needed.

Requirements:

  • Technical degree in science, sustainability, or law
  • Proven experience in sustainability or consumer products
  • Independent, proactive, eager to learn and expand knowledge in sustainability regulations and market access
  • Highly organized team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to understand and process client and stakeholder requests independently
  • Working knowledge of databases (e.g., Access) and MS Office
