Job summary

SSEN Transmission is seeking a Regulation Analyst to support the RIIO-T3 plan and a multi‑billion investment programme across the North of Scotland. You will analyse regulatory data, prepare submissions and collaborate with project, finance, commercial and engineering teams to secure approvals.

Based in one of our Scottish locations (Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness), the role offers permanent full‑time work with Flexible First options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• A degree level qualification in a relevant field or experience in analytical/regulatory roles.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex information from multiple sources and identify risks.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
• Proactive problem solving with clear communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in Excel/Word/PowerPoint; Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze regulatory, financial and project data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, delivering reporting packs and submissions for Ofgem and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure data integrity and quality through validation, reconciliation and quality assurance; investigate anomalies and improve processes.
• Collaborate with project, finance, commercial and engineering teams to gather data for regulatory reporting and submissions.
• Support development of regulatory submissions, funding requests and evidence packs to secure approvals and funding.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to support informed decision-making across the organisation.
