Job summary

Citi in Belfast is seeking an Analyst for its Regulatory Operations team to monitor controls and ensure timely regulatory reporting across the UK and Europe. You will review transaction reporting validation and investigate exceptions, coordinating with Operations, Technology, Compliance, and Internal Audit.

The role emphasizes monitoring, KPI design, and proactive remediation of issues, with emphasis on accuracy, timeliness, and governance. Strong numeracy and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Good numeric skills desirable.
• Bachelor's degree (preferable).

Responsibilities

• Help drive implementation and monitoring of submission data and exceptions to develop controls for timely regulatory reporting.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Review, design and enhance metrics and KPIs for regulations and assist with reporting to stakeholders.
• Monitor regulatory processes within the Belfast Reporting team and support remediation of failed controls.
• Collaborate with Operations, Regulatory Control, Technology, and business stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and proactive exception management.
• Document issues, ensure testings and signoffs with Audit trails.
