Job summary

Citi in Belfast seeks an Analyst for Regulatory Operations to monitor and oversee regulatory reporting controls and processes. You will collaborate with Operations, Technology and Compliance to investigate and remediate reporting issues, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of submissions to authorities.

The role emphasizes data analysis, KPI development and governance across MiFIR/MiFID II and related regimes within a global bank.

Qualifications

• Experience of compiling large volumes of data and analysing results.
• Experience of exception-based controls and processing.
• Experience of Regulatory reporting/Risk and Control (preferable).
• Good numeric skills desirable.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops monitoring and testing of submission data and exceptions to strengthen controls for regulatory reporting within Reg Ops.
• Ensures ongoing regulatory compliance and timely escalation where needed.
• Reviews and enhances metrics and KPIs for MiFIR/MiFID II and related regulations.
• Collaborates with Operations, Technology, Compliance and Internal Audit to manage issues and remediation tasks.
• Liaises with Belfast Supervisors to identify issues and propose solutions.
