Job summary

Citi in Belfast is seeking an Analyst to monitor and oversee key controls and processes for regulatory reporting across the UK & Europe region. You will review transaction reporting validation and reconciliation exceptions pertaining to trade data and work with Operations, Technology and Compliance to ensure timely, accurate reporting to regulatory authorities.

The role requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Experience of compiling large volumes of data and analysing results.
• Experience of exception-based controls and processing.
• Experience of working within a control environment.
• Experience of Regulatory reporting/Risk and Control (preferable).

Responsibilities

• Help drive implementation and perform monitoring and testing of firm’s submission data and exceptions/rejections to develop appropriate controls to drive the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of regulatory reporting obligations within Reg Ops.
• To ensure ongoing compliance with the regulatory requirement.
• Review, Design and Enhance key metrics and KPIs relevant to numerous regulations and assist with reporting to key stakeholders and senior management.
• Monitor regulatory processes within the Belfast Reporting team and support remediation of failed controls.
• Collaborate with Operations Regulatory Control, Technology, and key business stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
• Work with Reg Ops Change Management and QA to ensure documentation, testing and audit trails meet standardised requirements.
