Job summary

TP ICAP Group Services Ltd in Belfast seeks an Analyst 1 to deliver BAU activities under MiFID II, REMIT, EMIR and SFTR. You will handle regulatory reporting evidence, MI production, and investigations to ensure completeness and accuracy.

You will work with a cross-functional team, providing SME input and collaborating with technology to improve data quality, controls and timely reporting. This early-career role suits a proactive student in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Must currently be a Year 2 University student
• Strong attention to detail and high organisation
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong written and oral communication; adapts style to audience
• Comfortable in fast paced or high pressure environments
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Assist the team to generate and deliver Regulatory reports, as defined and agreed in line with our regulatory control framework
• Undertake reconciliations necessary to evidence oversight and control of regulatory reporting processes and data
• Provide SME support for relevant projects
• Work closely with Technology partners to create development requests for process and data accuracy enhancements
• Work to support wider Regulatory reporting team to meet regulator, audit and client delivery deadlines
• Assist with identification and implementation of automation opportunities to streamline processes
• Assist with design, preparation, analysis and distribution of Operational MI to key stakeholders
