Job summary

Yorkshire Building Society is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join our Finance team in Leeds. You will prepare and submit regulatory reports, ensuring deadlines are met and data is accurate.

You will work with auditors, regulators and internal teams, monitor regulatory changes, and support ad-hoc analysis while maintaining thorough documentation. This role is hybrid with one day a week in the Leeds office.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong technical knowledge.
• Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain complex requirements clearly.
• Proactive problem-solver in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with large data sets and financial systems (preferred).

Are you a qualified Accountant looking for your next opportunity to make a difference? We are looking for a Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join our Finance team!

This role is critical in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and delivering accurate, timely reporting to regulators and stakeholders.

This role is hybrid with one day per week in our central Leeds office.

About the role

About you

We're looking for someone who is a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong technical knowledge. You will -

• Be highly analytical with excellent attention to detail
• Have strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex requirements clearly
• Be a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Be comfortable working with large data sets and financial systems
• Ideally have experience in Financial Services
