Job summary

Yorkshire Building Society is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join our Finance team in Leeds. You will prepare and submit regulatory reports, ensuring deadlines are met and data is accurate.

You will work with auditors, regulators and internal teams, monitor regulatory changes, and support ad-hoc analysis while maintaining thorough documentation. This role is hybrid with one day a week in the Leeds office.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong technical knowledge.
• Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain complex requirements clearly.
• Proactive problem-solver in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with large data sets and financial systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit regulatory reports in line with statutory deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with auditors, regulators and internal teams to resolve queries.
• Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and assess their impact.
• Support the Finance department with ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails for submissions.
