Job summary

Axalta is seeking a Product Stewardship & Regulatory Specialist, EMEA to join our UK facilities in Welwyn Garden City, Darlington, Farnham, Huthwaite or Wellingborough. You will ensure product safety and regulatory compliance across Europe, the Middle East and Africa for paints, coatings and materials.

Work with R&D, sales, supply chain and manufacturing to collect regulatory data, prepare SDSs and manage registrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry or related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory environment for new legislation affecting sales.
• Audit compliance of formulations against country regulations.
• Anticipate regulatory actions impacting business planning.
• Assess regulatory conditions of new markets before entry.
• Monitor raw material classification changes affecting SDS/labels.
• Contribute to artwork generation to meet regulatory standards.
• Respond to formulation disclosure requests to authorities.
• Maintain PSRA procedures and work instructions.
